ChrisRodkey.com was first registered in June, 2000. Early versions of the site had design elements inspired by the Salt Lake 2002 Olympics website at
www.slc2002.org.

January 2002
The beginnings of a journal are taking shape.

May 2002
Journaling begins in earnest, but there still is not yet a daily commitment. The site remains built on static HTML pages.

April 2003
The daily journal begins to take shape. A picture is posted once a day, along with a caption and text. The pages are dynamic, hosted on a Coldfusion server.

October 2003
A small calendar made of thumbnail images becomes the default navigation for the site. Comments are enabled.

2006-2009
No screenshots of the previous site exist for this time period. The former site is still on a hard drive, somewhere. If I can un-archive it, I will.

November 2009
After several years without updating the journal, I transition to a database-driven display of the flying I've done as a new employee at Horizon Air.

I transition to a "card" view of flight data.

More cards, now, but still in square boxes.

Site is completely rebuilt using Bootstrap design for mobile responsiveness.
